Celebrate Vermont tradition and join in the festivities as sugarmakers show off their craft throughout the state! Bourdon Maple Farm will be boiling all weekend and offering free tours and tastings from 10am to 5pm. Come learn how maple syrup is made - from the forest to the sugarhouse - and get a taste of Vermont life. This is our favorite event of the entire year, and we have so many fun activities for you to enjoy.

Update: Because of last weekend's snow storm, we've extended Maple Open House Weekend to Saturday and Sunday, March 30th and 31st! If weather got in the way of your plans, you're welcome to join us again from 10am to 5pm for more Maple Madness.

Activities

Immerse yourself in a true Vermont experience in the steam of the sugarhouse and learn all about the tradition of making maple syrup. Visitors can take a tour of the sugarhouse and watch pure Vermont maple syrup being made by our seasoned sugarmakers (weather permitting).

Gather around a cozy outdoor fire pit with friends and family, taste all four grades of organic maple syrup, and try our famous buttermilk waffles with maple syrup fresh off the evaporator! We'll be scooping locally made maple ice cream topped with crunchy maple sprinkles (great on its own or on your waffles).

There will be giveaways and fun prizes from some of our favorite local businesses. Try your hand at Maple Bingo (for kids and kids at heart) to win a sweet prize or, if you're feeling adventurous, grab a map at the sugarhouse and explore our Maple Trail on a self-guided hike up through the sugarbush. Trails will be marked with different routes available so you can choose your own adventure. Along the way, keep an eye out for hidden tokens to win prizes!
